My TvC Victory Quotes FAQ is now up on GameFAQs, covering all the after-match quips, jabs and dis's from the characters in the game.
A few noteworthy ones for Rockman fans include:
"You really remind me of my brother..."
--Roll to MegaMan Volnutt, making the obvious meta-joke.
"Huh? Oh, sorry.
I got startled because you remind me
of someone who is very special to me."
--MegaMan V. to Roll, showing the feeling is mutual.
"Wow! I've never seen a Quick Man cosplay before!"
--Roll to Viewtiful Joe, bringing the funny.
"You kind of remind me of Data
with how energetic and rambunctious you are."
--MegaMan V. to V. Joe, drawing his own comparison.
"Please come and visit the lab sometime!
My brother and Rush would be thrilled
to meet you two!"
--Roll to Casshan, giving props to her 70s anime-inspired roots.
"You're strong and cool-looking.
You remind me of Hard Man more than Guts Man."
--Roll to Alex, she apparently prefers a Hard Man.
"You remind me so much of X...
What Hunter unit are you in?"
--Zero to MegaMan V., who also sees the resemblance.
"So you're looking for someone who looks
like me? Of course I accept your apology.
I'm sorry I couldn't help you out."
--MegaMan V. to Zero, as if in response.
"<3 Oh, my! What a handsome boy! <3
I hope some day you can fight at my side." --Doronjo to MegaMan V. who is something of the ladies' man in this game.
"You are just so cute and polite!
Maybe we can, like, spar again sometime." --Yatterman-2 to MegaMan V., see what I mean?
"Hmm, the Bonne family were actually more
of a challenge than you..."
--MegaMan V. to Doronjo, setting the record straight on the superior evil trio.
"...That's the Procyon-style energy
compression technique that has yet to be...
...Eh!? N-N-Never mind!"
--Saki to Zero, on the technology behind his Z-Saber.
"What are you doing here? You're just
a housekeeping Reploid... You should get
home immediately before you malfunction."
--Zero to Roll, putting to rest the question of whether the original series robots are more like reploids or mechaniloids.
And perhaps the most infamous of them all...
"You're pretty strong! You might
even be able to beat my brother!"
--Roll to Zero, teasing Zero Cataclysm fans everywhere.
